Gokulanathan Ponnusamy, fondly called as Gokul was born and brought up in Tiruchengode. He studied at Government Boys Hr. Sec. School, Tiruchengode. He completed his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Salem in the year 1998. Following that, for a year, he ventured into the bore well business, operating in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. In 1999, he Joined MBA at KSR College of Technology, Tiruchengode.
In 2002, he embarked on the journey of establishing a Polytechnic institution named Bharath Polytechnic College in Tiruchengode. Till last year he held the position of Correspondent at the college. In 2012, he founded a company called Nithra Solar Power India Private Limited. The subsequent year, 2013, saw the inception of Nithra Apps India Private Limited. This company focuses on developing apps in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
We have successfully published more than 150 apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Among our notable apps are the Calendar apps in five languages, Local Jobs and Matrimony apps in Tamil and Telugu. Our apps downloaded more than 5 Crore times and cater to over one Crore regular users. Two E-Commerce store operate under Nithra are nithrabooks.com for books and sridiya.com for spiritual items. Now we have opened retail store at Tiruchengode based on the customer requests.
We have employee strength of around 325+ people from four branches at Tiruchengode, Tamilnadu
and Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and also remotely working from Karnataka, Telangana & Rajasthan
